Boilers are pretty advanced heating systems that can be very cost effective and comforting when they are working properly. The systems required maintenace every year to make sure they are performing correctly. Since boilers are more advanced they require even more detailed checkups to prevent breakdowns. The last thing you want to haapen is for the system to breakdown because of the higher cost in repairing these units. Our tune-ups make sure your system is working correctly and we try to prevent them from breaking down and costing you money to repair. The following is a list of items that are included in the tune-up.
- Check the furnace exhaust flue for proper draft.
- Check/Adjust for proper gas pressure at the operating valve.
- Check/Adjust the heating burners for signs of wear and proper operation.
- Check/Adjust thermostat for accurate control of your system.
- Check for any carbon monoxide leakage.
- Check all mechanical parts for signs of wear.
- Check the pilot assembly.
- Check all safety devices for proper operation.
- Check the exhaust blower assembly.
- Check expansion tank.
- Check and measure boiler water pressure.
- Check boiler water temperature.
- Check and oil circulating pump.
- Check temperature pressure relief valve.
